TOURING IS EXPENSIVE
I’ve been getting literally THOUSANDS of tweets from people complaining about “ALLSTAR WEEKEND HATES FLORIDA” or “WHY ARE THERE NO GEORGIA DATES” or “ALLSTAR WEEKEND NEVER COMES HERE!!” etc etc etc.
When someone books a tour the first thing they did is make the routing. Where is the tour going to go? Pretty much every major city you can think of is included in the routing. From there on they have to talk to venues and book the dates (making sure you get a good guarantee). Which also means the venue has to be the right size for the band, a good location, and also match the date we need on our routing. As you can guess, it doesn’t always work out.
The one thing that hurts bands on tour are off days. In order to get to the cities that people are complaining about the band would have to steer off the routing which would mean the band could lose money.
Allstar Weekend loves touring and you all know this. They love playing in every major city you can think of. This is a shorter tour than normal and the band will be back and visit all of these cities! Just be patient please! Some cities like Tulsa, OK for example have only had the band play there ONE TIME ever.
Also, some people are saying there is no LA date… AGOURA HILLS IS LIKE 30 MINUTES FROM LA!!!! :-p
